Mr. Chandresh Patel

Chandresh Patel grew up in the Ashram and as student would come to Auroville for Matrimandir concreting works. He also used to come and work in Auroville farms on occasions.

From 1998 onwards, he was involved with Auroville International USA as a board member and treasurer where he worked on several Auroville projects in facilitating research, student exchange, projects and fund raising.  Later he also joined as a board member of the Auroville International from 2000 onwards. All these were on volunteer basis. His full time engagement in USA were in the field of computing, networking and systems design heading a consulting team for over 20 years.

Chandresh joined Auroville in 2006 and has participated in socio-economy development of Auroville since joining the community as a volunteer. He Setup SaraCon incubation center in 2006. Helped launching of several initiatives such as electric vehicle research, community transport, fiber optics communication network, organized annual Auroville Marathon. Was part of many units and services launched out of SaraCon. He has served as a Trustee on Swagatam Trust and Bharat Nivas. He served a full term in the Working Committee and later on Funds & Assets Management Committee. He holds active interest in the governance and participatory working models in various of Auroville’s community activities such as working groups, housing service, funds & assets management, community transport. Along with Retd Captain JV Avadhanulu, he was engaged in the rollout of the ICITI project which is now nearing completion.

Chandresh is now actively engaged in the Funds & Assets Management team and is actively participating in governance and finance of Auroville.

B. S. Satyanarayan working in Auroville since 1983, he retired as Accounts Officer in June, 2013. From July, 2013 till December, 2015 worked as Internal Auditor.

From January, 2016 to 30th April, 2022 worked as Accounts Officer at Bharat Nivas. From May, 2022 till date working as Accounts Officer in Auroville Foundation.

Aurovilian since 2019,  Ocean, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is experienced in evaluating and monitoring business processes in multinational companies based in the Netherlands and the UAE. Fulfilled an advisory role in maintaining a robust and independent assurance platform: assessed and monitored status of internal control, risk management process, governance & compliance, advised how to enhance business processes, cross functional cooperation and promoted risk awareness based culture.
